History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
