Description: This exceptionally lanky man prefers to wear flannel. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears bulky brown painted plate armor. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His eyes are likewise gray.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.
History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has achieved small success as a Carpenter.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Justin was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spy. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
