Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with violet lining and desert motifs. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Roland is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: Theodoric is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'3". He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his falchion with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and his gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He has brown eyes and a brown hat with a green feather.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Adventurer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to be a bricklayer again

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He wears blue trousers with tan and grey striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels threatened by others
