He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Jocelyn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in a small desert village. Jocelyn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
