Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 31. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Solomon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Peter has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Henry lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and money/treasure
