History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Balimaar was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sculptor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
