History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He has worked as a Mercenary like his mother before him.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears long strands of topaz and short red dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A true patriot, Cory would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrick was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
