History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to be a body guard again

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has amber eyes and a violet hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
