History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
