History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: An older man who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, he is not a threatening figure. His golden hair is still thick. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: Hubert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
