History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. A true patriot, Adelard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
