Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His ears are large.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His hair is long and blonde with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for him, and Godfrey does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.
