History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Richard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Richard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Richard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to protect his home

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Lance enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Banker, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
