History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
