Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Gifted from a young age, Bernard studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
