History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has worked as a Mercenary like his father before him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and doesn't want to be a merchant and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Miles was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Courier again; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the south to a Knight, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He struck the Knight job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
