History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Knight mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Adelard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adelard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nicholas will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
