Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly flails and lances. His black hair is cut short. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears brown trousers with pastel and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has taken up work as a Tanner and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and sabotage a competitor

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hammer with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is lengthy. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair is blonde and very short. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trey grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
