History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
