Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a kukri on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is golden and curly. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in a small desert village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'8". He wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his sickle. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is content

His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the north to a Stylist, Lewis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Dustin was born with his mother's beautiful face. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and to settle down with his crush
