History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in lance use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Dustin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dustin was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to prove his worth to the world
