When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Clerebold was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A freak accident while working with his Shoemaker mother left him crippled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent mother
