Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he typically wears blue cloth garments or leather armor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born in the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has achieved small success as a Doctor.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and he perpetually has his sai ready. His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his youth he was a Jeweler, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man usually wears his grey robe and has his whip always slung over his shoulder. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His golden hair is cut short. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Gilbert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and sabotage a competitor

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a fancy green suit. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Theodoric isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mercenary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
