He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a Farmer soon after.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
