Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gunter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.
