Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Theodoric was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mason. He has worked as a Mason like his mother before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
