He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Gardener, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business
