Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: He usually wears his blue robe and has his spear always slung over his shoulder. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is short and chestnut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: An older man who wears a black top hat and black clothes, he is not a threatening figure. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His eyes are green.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Justin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'3". He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Peter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
