His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carpenter for the past few years.

History: He was born in the north. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
