Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Miles's homeland. Miles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
