Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
