History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This tall, slender man has a large violet mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Theobald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theobald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: He wears baggy white pantaloons and a tan scarf, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'7" when asserting himself. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
