History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Ernest learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a Butcher, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
