History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ralf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Ralf reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang.
