History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a Ruler, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Gerard was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Rolf was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.
