History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Laborer, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
