He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hugh studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He is fixated on the number 41. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Lance's homeland. Lance decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern
