Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is an amazing painter.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Sage. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tattered old clothes. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a ceremonial dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This late middle aged man wears a grey tunic with black highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes and is in decent physical shape. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Conrad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Conrad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it
