History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his music dream.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a violet vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his violet boots flare out at the collars. His auburn hair is cut short. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a halberd and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a black and grey robe with the hood down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. He has no hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his sister

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He wears his black hair up. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to settle down with his crush
