His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
