Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Courier and found it very stressful. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Courier and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Percival was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
