Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a very tight haircut. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a great chef.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He carries with him a set of greataxes, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father
