Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born in the north. His childhood dream was to be a Hunter, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born in the east to a Locksmith, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Locksmith soon after.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Locksmith responsibilities is difficult; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his father's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
