Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Frederick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, blue shirt, and black tie. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has moderate length silver hair. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
