He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Priest responsibilities is difficult; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
