History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: Born in the south to a Stableman, Ernest learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Stableman job and began his own company from there.
