Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: An older man who wears a tan vest and prefers black and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, he is not a threatening figure. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by his family

Description: A 6'0" northern man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Theodoric was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Theodoric decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'5". He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats, and his gloved hand is found clutching a sword. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His green eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He became a Sage soon after.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing violet cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his left hand. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Sailor mother left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and to get a good night's sleep
