Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, marred by sweets. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has white hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A true patriot, Ernest would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. His head has been shaved. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Mercenary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
