Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely brown suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and human compassion

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a black costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nicholas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'10". He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, and his gloved hand is found clutching a shield. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He wears his white hair up. He has gray eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
