Description: A plain young-adult man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: An older man who wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is typically in his Cartwright uniform. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Cartwright like his mother before him.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a hand crossbow on his belt. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
